Sara Friedlander has been living in the Santa Cruz, California, community since 1973 and actively participating in the arts for the last 15 years. She works in mixed media (photography and paint) focusing on series as varied as Chinese Women: Bound and Determined; Subway Reflections; Blurred Landscapes and Restructured: Architectural Icons.
