Lane Langford was consumed by the beauty surrounding him when he moved to the San Juan Islands in 2000. Though he had never painted before, he began to use the Windows Paint program on the computer to paint from scratch familiar scenes he saw in his island home. After six years, he picked up a paint brush to try to understand even more what he was feeling and seeing.
