Cathy Schoenberg is known for the bold complexity of color and exuberantly painted imagery. She finds rhythm and movement in her more abstracted “Flower” paintings in oil, than were revealed in her past figurative work. She has been exhibiting professionally since 1980 in the Skagit Valley, Seattle, and San Juan Islands of WashingtonState. She maintains a studio in Anacortes’s Old Town and is represented by Waterworks Gallery in Friday Harbor ( since 1995).
